This device (a pressure cuff around the upper arm) is worn for 24 hours to determine what the patients blood pressure readings are in their own home environment.

 

It provides a guide as to the fluctuation of blood pressure readings in a variety of different scenarios such as : at rest, asleep, driving, or at work.

 

For many patients this method provides the best indication of their blood pressure and whether treatment is required, is optimal, or needs further adjustment.
